JANET(UK) currently operates 2 Polycom MGC-100TM MCUs and 3 Codian MSE 8000 chassis with SD and HD MCU blades. The equipment is used for both point-to-point and multipoint videoconferences to facilitate IP to IP, IP to ISDN and ISDN to ISDN conferences.

This involves registration of their videoconferencing endpoints (studios, desktop systems and all other endpoints) with the Booking Service. The following configuration is for a session that sets up a Cisco® router as a gatekeeper and H.323 proxy. It is minimally commented, so for further explanation please refer to the Cisco® information in Cisco Multimedia Conference Manager. In this example, a single physical port has been used between the endpoint and the college’s site access router. The commands would have to be altered slightly in a different topology.
