Following the announcement from the Welsh government on plans for the PSBA, please find attached a document which outlines Jisc's continued support, through Janet, for our Welsh customers.
On 7 October, the Welsh government signed a contract with British Telecommunications Plc to provide PSBA network services to public service organisations across Wales. This will replace the current contract with Logicalis. The attached press release from the Welsh Government announces this, and you may have already seen press reports.
Janet provides services to the following organisations in Wales:
Presentation to FE IT Managers present at the Colegau Cymru ITSYSMAN meeting in Llandrindod Wells, 24th October 2012.
In 2012 Janet worked with organisations across the sector in Wales to define, record and encapsulate requirements for the next generation of Janet's delivery in Wales.
One of the primary roles of this document is to inform the procurement processes for the next generation of the PSBA network.

This course provides participants with hands on experience of how eduroam operates at both a basic technical level, but also at a support level. Hands on experience is provided showing how a RADIUS server can be configured for eduroam (both for home and for visited usage), examination of the RADIUS proxy traffic and changing the contents of proxied messages.
