The Janet6 dynamic map shows the areas of the core network and the regions light up as each one is migrated. The London core PoP has already been lit, London region to follow soon.
The contract for Janet connections in the London region was signed 7th November 2013 and work now begins in earnest to plan, build and deliver your Janet connections.

The London 2012 Olympic Games will be showcasing the use of new technology in practice, marking the first truly digital Games in the UK. From 23 July to 12 August Janet will be enabling the BBC and NHK to use the Janet network to broadcast key moments of the Games in Super Hi-Vision at various locations the UK, and around the world.
Janet6 is the project that will deliver the next generation of the Janet infrastructure and the footprint of the Janet6 network ensures that we can provide coverage across the whole UK.
The Janet London infrastructure procurement process is nearing completion and the contract has been awarded to Virgin Media Business. As this is a change from the current provider, there will be a programme of delivery and then migration to the new infrastructure.
