Network Development Manager

Joined Jisc in January 2016, having formerly been a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Southampton. Currently a work package leader on the GÉANT GN4-3 project, for network technologies and services development. Areas of interest include end-to-end performance, network automation, network monitoring, and IPv6, Interesting snippets: was one of the original eduroam design team in 2002/03; active within the IETF as a WG chair and Internet/Operations Directorate member 2008-present; created a GCHQ-accredited Cyber Security MSc at Southampton in 2014; co-chair of the UK IPv6 Council.
