INTRODUCTION 1. JANET(UK) agrees to provide to the Customer the JVCRS subject to these Terms. DEFINITIONS 2. “Authorised Booker” is a person authorised by the Customer to book JVCS conferences on behalf of the Customer using the JVCRS; such person(s) as notified by the Customer to JANET(UK) from time to time in writing. 3. “Commencement Date” is the date on which  these Terms have been signed by both JANET(UK) and the Customer.

Vscene enables the educational community to collaborate with museums, libraries, galleries, archives and other providers of educational resources that meet certain requirements (accredited Content Providers: Content Providers must be recommended by a Local Authority, Grid for Learning, LTS or C2KNI). Content Providers are allowed to access the central facilities of Vscene in return for an annual service charge for each registered endpoint/venue.

Content Providers now have the opportunity to loan a complete videoconferencing kit for up to 3 months,* to help enable them to videoconference with the education sector. Benefits to Content Providers The Videoconferencing Loan Scheme will enable prospective content providers to trial videoconferencing equipment and content without having to commit to purchasing the necessary videoconference hardware.
