Question: Eduroam Authentication From External Institues
At present we are experiencing issues with users connecting to Eduroam from other institutes.
On average we have 40k unique devices a month internally authenticating to our NPS Radius servers with no internal issues, however at peak times users logging in from external institutes to our realm @Kingston.ac.uk struggle to Authentication with Microsoft NPS logs showing Malformed Packets and the logs from the Eduroam Portal shows;
"May 18 08:19:43 194.82.174.185 #CLIENT=194.82.51.56#IDENTIFIER=sgul.ac.uk#USERNAME=kuxxxxx@kingston.ac.uk#CSI=44-85-00-10-75-bb#OPERATOR=#FAIL"
We have increased the MTU size of the Firewalls but to no avail.
How anyone else seen this issue with NPS? potentially down to congestion?
