Search

The results of your search is shown on this page, and divided into several categories. You can click on the individual tabs to find results from the name of a videoconference, another users’ virtual room, a registered organisation (school, college, university etc), a registered video system – this could be a hardware system or a desktop system or another user.
Videoconference
You can click on the videoconference tab to view all videoconferences, which include the search words. You can also click on the ‘Advanced filtering’ drop down menu for a more in depth search. You can choose to search for:
- Videoconferences you organised, are participating in or are an administrator for as well as past and/or future videoconferences
- Videoconferences associated with a particular videoconferencing system
- Upcoming or past videoconferences, which took place within a specific date and time period
- Videoconferences that included streaming and/or recording
Search results are listed in the results table and can be filtered into ascending or descending order.
Virtual Room
You can click on the virtual room tab to view all virtual rooms, which include the search words. You can also click on the ‘Advanced filtering’ drop down menu for a more in depth search. You can choose to search for:
- Virtual rooms you are a user of or are an administrator for
- Virtual rooms, which were used within a specific date and time period
You can also choose to include the names and email addresses of the owners of the searched for virtual rooms.
Search results are listed in the results table and can be filtered into ascending or descending order.
Organisation
You can click on the organisation tab to view all organisations, which include your search words. You can also click on the ‘Advanced filtering’ drop down menu for a more in depth search.
You can include additional search terms to help find the organisation. You can add additional search terms to help find the organisation, by adding terms in to the following fields:
- An organisation containing an additional search term in its name
- An organisation with a parent name containing the additional search term i.e. Oxford University is the parent organisation of St Peter’s College
- Part or full postal code of the organisation
- The email domain of the organisation i.e. oxford.ac.uk
You can also choose to filter by sector and can include the organisations picture i.e. the organisation logo.
Search results are listed in the results table and can be filtered into ascending or descending order.
Video System
You can click on the video systems tab to view all video systems, which include the search words. You can also click on the ‘Advanced filtering’ drop down menu for a more in depth search.
You can include additional search terms to help find video systems. You can add additional search terms into the following fields:
- A video system containing an additional search term in its name
- Part or full postal code of the organisation the video system may be registered to
- The full of partial name of the organisation the video system may be registered to
You can also choose to filter by video system type i.e. hardware system, desktop system etc and can choose to include systems registered as personal (i.e. registered to one user), shared (i.e. used by an organisation or department), automated (i.e. a test system), or operator (i.e. a system registered to the Vscene operators for QA tests etc).
Search results are listed in the results table and can be filtered into ascending or descending order.
User
You can click on the Users tab to view all users, which include the search words. You can also click on the ‘Advanced filtering’ drop down menu for a more in depth search.
You can include additional search terms to help find other users. You can add additional search terms into the following fields:
- Another user containing an additional search term in their name
- Another user associated with an organisation containing the additional search term
- The email address of the user
You can also choose to filter by sector and can include the other users profile picture
Search results are listed in the results table and can be filtered into ascending or descending order.
