The XT5000 720 system supports two HD channels at 720p however it may be fully upgraded at any time to support 1080p and with additional options match the specification of the XT5000 system. This provides the user with flexibility to cost effectively select a suite of options while retaining the ability to upgrade at a later date via additional license keys. A high definition (HD) camera, a table microphone pod, an infra-red remote control and PC connectivity completes the package. Several options are available including:
- 1080p/60 Support

The maximum point to point connection speed is 6 Mbit/s; the 12 Mbit/s Extended IP Bit Rate option increases the point to point connection speed to 8 Mbit/s in H.323 and 10 Mbit/s in SIP calls. In addition the total MCU call bandwidth is 12 Mbit/s but individual connections are restricted to 6 Mbit/s.
Compatibility with other H.323 CODECS is achieved across a range of resolutions from SIF (352x240) to 1280x720 pixels. The quality of the conference is dependent upon the capability of the remote CODEC and the connection speed.
