Why is Biodiversity important to people?
On 7th February at 14.00, Victoria Wright, a PhD student at The University of Sheffield, will be presenting a lecture discussing the importance of biodiversity and its benefits to people: 'Anthropocentric Reasons for Conservation'.

This session will provide an insight into the human-centred arguments for conservation and the challenges and decisions effective conservation demands. It is aimed at Year 12 & 13 students interested in this subject area and will be fully interactive, enabling students to discuss both the topic and university study with Victoria.
This VU session is free to all schools and colleges.
