The children from Redbridge Primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge would like to invite all year 2 classes to take part in their Tamil culture VC below on 14 June.

Tamils have a great tradition of heritage and culture that developed over 2,000 years ago and still continues to flourish. Tamil culture is rooted in the arts and ways of life of Tamils in IndiaSri LankaMalaysia, and across the globe.

 This videoconference is an opportunity for all Primary schools registered with Janet Videoconferencing using VC hardware endpoints only (no webcams).

VC Content:

Curriculum Links: KS1 Geography, PSHE, RE

The session will include traditional clothes, food, festivals, a short dual language story and a Q&A session.

The times for each 20 minute session which are to be held on Friday 14 June are:

·         Session 1. 10am  – 10.20am

·         Session 2. 10.30am  – 10.50am

·         Session 3. 11am  – 11.20am
