Natural History Museum-Creatures of the Deep

25 October 2013 at 4:11pm

The next videoconference from the Natural History Museum is taking place on

Friday 8 November 2013, 11.00-11.45

Suitable for Key Stage 2 (7-11 years old)

In the deepest ocean, in the darkness and under huge pressure, you might think life is scarce. But you'd be wrong. The deep sea is one of the least explored areas on the planet, yet many strange and wonderful creatures live in this extreme environment.

During the conference, we will compare your ideas to real specimens here at the Museum. Fish curator Ollie Crimmen will be on hand to explain the animals’ adaptations and show some of the Museums's weirdest and most wonderful specimens.
