This is a project group originally formed to evaluate alternative OS and hardware platform for eduroam NRPS. The reason for the test was to further the investigation into why the Radiator - Solaris - Virtual NRPS that was at the time deployed for all three NRPS, is susceptible to runaway traffic overload which is thought to be exacerbated by long RADIUS packet handling times.
