It's been a while...

It's been a while since my last Janet6 blog update, and quite a bit has happened:

- We've accepted delivery of the fully commissioned optical network from Ciena.

- We've completed commissioning of the IP network.

- We've interconnected SuperJANET5 and Janet6.

- We've done a ton of various other cabling and configuring.

- We've started migrating regional networks over to Janet6.

In summary, we started migrating on 22nd July and are due to finish on 11th September (with a 3 week break for clearing). To date the following regional networks have successfully migrated to Janet6:

Aberdeen Region

Fife & Tayside Region

PSBA

South Region

NorMAN

TVN
