An Information Sharing Agreement between the University of Leeds and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is described, including access to some systems. Also an initiative to deliver eduroam to a number of NHS Trusts in Yorkshire, a project plan is being drawn up to deliver this in a coordinated way.
A Hackday is planned on the weekend of 19th-21st September in either London or Birmingham. It will focus on initiatives in technology enhanced learning. More details will circulated later.
Richard Osborn stood in for Betsy Anagnostelis to tell the Forum about a pilot that has been generated following the Finch Report. Some research publications are being made available to the NHS employees for a trial period of a year in a pilot negotiated by Jisc Collections.
