Andrew Howe, a key contributor to the NHS-HE Connectivity Best Practice Working Group & now Co-Chair, describes 4 of the initiatives with the NHS at Dundee: Local Bi-Directional Gateway Reciprocal Shared Wi-Fi Service University and NHS VDI Access directly from NHS PCs

Martin presented on the Weston General Hospital pilot at the November 2013 NHS-HE Forum. This time he was able to say how successful the pilot has been (no issues reported) and that it was now to become a standard supported service. Looking to use this model in 2 other Trusts.

An Information Sharing Agreement between the University of Leeds and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is described, including access to some systems. Also an initiative to deliver eduroam to a number of NHS Trusts in Yorkshire, a project plan is being drawn up to deliver this in a coordinated way.
