Hi.
We are getting going in Cloud datacentre in AWS and I note they permit clients to bring-their-own-IP's:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ec2-byoip.html

I am curious if anyone here has had experience of doing this with your institutions public-address space?

Here at UEL we have a /16 Class-B and it would be useful indeed to apportion some if it to our Cloud-DC in AWS.

I am wondering if JISC/JANET would need to be involved in this at all?
I am guessing not as it would be a case of AWS advertising the allocated CIDR into BGP from themselves; once confirmation of ownership via the method in the link above describes.

Anyone have anything they can share on this ?

Many thanks.

Simon.
