I have received a membership request to a group I manage. However when I go to the group, and then people they are not listed for me to approve them?

Hi Sian,

To approve a membership request you will need to click on the 'Group' tab when on the group homepage. This is next to 'View' and 'Edit' at the top of the group description. On the next screen, click 'People', and there you will find a list of people currently in that group. You can approve your new group members with the tick boxes and drop down menu.

Hi Phil,

I have tried that and they are still not showing for me to approve them? It only lists the people who are part of the group already and who work within Janet? Any help you can give would be great

Hi Sian,

If you can't see any pending requests in that list then there isn't anyone waiting for approval. I've gone in as admin and checked your groups and can't see anyone either, so it's possible that Community members requested group membership then changed their minds between the email getting sent to you and you visiting the site.

If you still have the original emails you would have been sent and would like us to look into this further, please forward them onto community@ja.net and we can investigate further.
