Plans for this Training Day/Workshop on 12th July in London, as previously indicated.
Following discussions with Wendy and Trevor, I am delighted to say that the main contributors on the day will be:
- John Hodson, Senior IG Specialist, Data Security Centre, NHS Digital - Data Security and Protection Toolkit overview
- Alex Bailey, Programme Manager, MRC Regulatory Support Centre, University of Edinburgh - Latest on GDPR & Research
Many thanks to them for agreeing to this.
John will give the latest update on the new Data Security and Protection Toolkit with Q&A, but has also agreed to lead two “HE Guidance Hackathon” sessions:
- Checking that the guidance required is planned.
- Work on some of the guidance in groups
Rhys Davies and Tom King have very kindly offered Queen Mary University of London facilities to host the event, at their Mile End campus, directions.
