Data Storage & Preservation Strategies for Research Data Manangement

25 September 2014 at 11:48am

Arkivum Breakfast Briefing at Edinburgh 27 October 2014 from 13:00 - 16:00 (GMT)

Research data is increasingly seen as a public asset, to be preserved for the research record and potential reuse in further research. Education institutions are developing Research Data Management (RDM) services to address this sustainably. How and what should be archived, as research data volumes spiral, can be challenging. The event will help institutional staff navigate some of the options available to develop their RDM service, through examples of RDM service provision at University of Edinburgh, and present the support available through Janet, Arkivum and the Digital Curation Centre.
