The 802.1X Special Internet Group comprises members of the community and selected industry experts and has been formed to research and maintain a watching brief of developments of the technology and to inform practical application of 802.1X for the Janet community. First Call for Papers for 2013 TERENA Networking Conference
The Programme Committee for the 2013 TERENA Networking Conference (TNC2013) has issued a Call for Papers exploring the theme ‘Innovating Together’. The deadline for submission of papers is 30 November 2012.
TNC2013 will be held in Maastricht, Netherlands, from 3 to 6 June 2013, hosted by SURFnet, the Dutch research and education networking organisation.

This group is an area in which members of the community can share and discuss the use of XMPP within their organisation.
In particular, where resources are available over XMPP this group would be a great place to share and advertise them.
This is the High Throughput special interest group on line group. Network performance problems may cause issues to scientists and network operators alike. Throughput problems can be caused by many factors - including infrastructure, hosts, applications. Researchers that encounter network problems sometimes can use this resource to facilitate troubleshooting, tuning and get general advice from the community.
This group is a working technical group comprised of representatives from the RBCs and local authorities in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The group's aim is to support schools in understanding the technical landscape that faces them, ensuring standards across our regions and supporting each region by sharing technical knowledge. The group publishes technical papers which can be found on the advice page of the NEN website www.nen.gov.uk
