May 13: Integrated Technology Enhanced Learning for Better Training Better Care - Emma Scales

Emma described the new Integrated Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) project that is being led by Health Education England in association with the Higher Education Academy (HEA). It is part of the response to the Better Training Better Care initiative responding to both the Temple report (Time for Training) and the Collins report (Foundation for Excellence). "The vision is for HEE to work in close collaboration with HEA and other partners to implement this strategy and ensure that blended learning using simulation, eLearning and the use of mobile applications become commonplace in curricula and in continuing professional development."
