Jun 15: National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine at Loughborough and an N3 Connection - Jonathan Oakden
10 June 2015 at 12:29pm
A National Centre for Sport and Excercise Medicine has been built on the Loughborough University campus, for the East Midlands, as part of the Olympics legacy. It is one of three centres in the UK and one of only 9 in the world.
Jonathan Oakden, Network and Communications Team Manager at Loughborough University, described the collaborative work with 3 Universities and 3 NHS Trusts. Also with Loughborough being previously not that involved with joint working with the NHS, the options that were considered for the building's network connectivity and then the experience of implementing an N3 connection.
