First Call for Papers for 2013 TERENA Networking Conference
The Programme Committee for the 2013 TERENA Networking Conference (TNC2013) has issued a Call for Papers exploring the theme ‘Innovating Together’. The deadline for submission of papers is 30 November 2012.
TNC2013 will be held in Maastricht, Netherlands, from 3 to 6 June 2013, hosted by SURFnet, the Dutch research and education networking organisation.

This is the High Throughput special interest group on line group. Network performance problems may cause issues to scientists and network operators alike. Throughput problems can be caused by many factors - including infrastructure, hosts, applications. Researchers that encounter network problems sometimes can use this resource to facilitate troubleshooting, tuning and get general advice from the community.
This is a test area for developing reports for eventual use by various user groups.
This group is a working technical group comprised of representatives from the RBCs and local authorities in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The group's aim is to support schools in understanding the technical landscape that faces them, ensuring standards across our regions and supporting each region by sharing technical knowledge. This is the regional group for Janet customers in the West Midlands seeking information about Janet connectivity in their region, support, services and contact information.
The advanced technology at the heart of Janet coupled with the government’s drive for shared services and efficient procurement mean that Janet’s common infrastructure can support multiple communities and deliver significant savings.
This year we will be holding two separate events on two separate days. One day will focus on Content, one day on the technical elements of Videoconferencing.
The date has now been agreed for the Janet VC User group Content event-it will be on Thursday 5th December. It will be aimed at schools(all Key Stages) and FE, teachers, users, lecturers, Head teachers, subject heads.There will be presentations from a selection of Janet Content Providers,also opportunities for Janet updates...
This group is where the project team for the new Janet London infrastructure implementation will share information about the progress of the transition.
