IETF Standards
Moonshot is an implementation of the standards developed in the IETF ABFAB working group. These standards define the interactions between the various protocols that make up ABFAB.
The main documents of interest are:
- draft-ietf-abfab-arch - The ABFAB Architecture (how everything fits together) [work in progress]
- draft-ietf-abfab-usecases - A description of motivating use cases for federation beyond the web [work in progress]
- draft-ietf-abfab-gss-eap - The GSS-EAP mechanism (how EAP is integrated into GSS to give application integration) [work in progress]
- draft-ietf-abfab-aaa-saml - How standard AAA traffic is augmented with SAML for richer authorisation possibilities [work in progress]
Other supporting documents are:
- draft-ietf-abfab-eapapplicability - An update to the scope of EAP to include the wider range of possibilities that ABFAB allows for [work in progress]
- draft-ietf-abfab-gss-eap-naming - How ABFAB provides authorisation data alongside authentication via GSS-API naming extensions [work in progress]
