Janet is interested in getting some hands on experience with 4G, and would like to hear about trial opportunities or community use cases for true broadband mobile technologies. This group will also be the focus for discussions comcerning the forthcoming Janet 4G trial in partnership with EE.

The 802.1X Special Internet Group comprises members of the community and selected industry experts and has been formed to research and maintain a watching brief of developments of the technology and to inform practical application of 802.1X for the Janet community. eduroam Companion is a mobile application running on Android and iOS that provides users with a fast way to locate eduroam connectivity whilst on the move.
This group exists to generate feedback and ideas for improving the application, and for collecting reports of any issues encountered.
eduroam Meeting Support group is intended for management of booking of equipment to support meetings and events and as a collaborative area for development of the service.
