Janet ensures that the Janet community is kept up to date with networking developments by organising workshops and conferences to cover either general networking issues or more specific topics, for example, Wireless or IPv6. The annual events cover a number of different networking issues from strategy to technical support. Janet also organises events in conjunction with other organisations.
This working group is open to members of the TERENA community interested in planning, implementing, running and using CRM (customer relationship management) systems to support their daily work.
“Janet Connected” is a new initiative to allow commercial organisations to connect to Janet for the effective and efficient delivery of network services to our community.

First Call for Papers for 2013 TERENA Networking Conference
The Programme Committee for the 2013 TERENA Networking Conference (TNC2013) has issued a Call for Papers exploring the theme ‘Innovating Together’. The deadline for submission of papers is 30 November 2012.
TNC2013 will be held in Maastricht, Netherlands, from 3 to 6 June 2013, hosted by SURFnet, the Dutch research and education networking organisation.
