This course provides an introduction to the technology and the different methods of virtualisation available. Networking and Security concerns are explored in further detail, as critical elements to deployment. The second part of the course covers the application of Cloud Computing in more detail.
Some of the topics covered include Virtualisation implementation, Network & Security and Introduction to the Cloud, its Networking and its Security.
This course will be of interest to staff working at Janet connected organisations with responsibility for infrastructure: development, implementation and strategy. The course assumes a very basic level of virtualisation experience, therefore prospective delegates who are completely new to the topic are recommended to have attended the Virtualisation Fundamentals Course.
