SWERN User Group

The SWERN user group meets 3 times a year and alternates the location for the meetings between Exeter and Bristol. The group has an active membership and meetings are well attended by representatives from FE, HE and other Janet connected sites in the region. The meetings usually start at 10.45am and stop at 1pm when lunch is provided. In the afternoon session which usually starts at 2pm, a presentation is normally given, either by a commercial supplier with a product of interest to the group or one of the community. Attending one of the meetings gives you a chance to hear what has been happening within SWERN, reports on connectivity within the region and to listen to an update from others attending the meeting on the important changes in IT at their institutions.
