SWERN Disengagement programme
The supplier has now delivered the core infrastructure and site connections for the new South West regional network. The new regional network infrastructure has been made ready for service and customers can now be migrated from the SWERN network. Janet are in the process of making contact with each customer regarding a migration window and will also outline any relevant technical information.

The migration phase has now completed. Work now continues with SWERN on the JPA disengagenment.
The Bristol City Council connection has now migrated on to the South West regional infrastructure having previously been connected to Janet via the core network at Bristol C-PoP.
The JPA disengagement is now complete ! The change control document formalising the process was signed by both parties on 3rd December 2012.
