Northern Ireland region - re-procurement

Janet(UK) will shortly begin preparations for a re-procurement exercise for the Northern Ireland region in 2015 for rollout, delivery and migration in Q2/Q3 of 2016. This affords us a further period of consultation and requirements gathering with the regional users and the funding bodies to ensure that the network is fully fit for purpose and allows sufficient growth to meet the changing needs of the user base. In order to run a procurement in 2015 the existing contract with Virgin Media will be extended until November 2016. This contract still represents excellent value for money for connections that are envisioned to be of an appropriate bandwidth for the foreseeable future.

You will be contacted over the next few weeks and months by your Customer Engagement and Service Manager, Noel McDaid who will discuss your requirements and this information will feed into the procurement exercise.
