File Sync and Share Please be aware that this service ended on 10 July 2016 and is now closed to new purchases. Any agreements that were set up under the framework prior to the expiry date, will continue until their agreed end date. We’re currently gathering requirements for a replacement service that reflects users’ changing requirements: Secure File Sync & Collaboration service It would be really helpful if you could let us know what aspects of the previous File Sync & Share service were unappealing and may have stopped you from using the service. Does the European Court decision on Safe Harbour affect Box customers?

Following the EU Court decision on Safe Harbour earlier this week, whereby EU-US data transfers are 'invalid' if made under the 'safe harbour' regime, our solicitor has advised that where a cloud arrangement includes the Model Clauses, then the ruling should have limited immediate impact.

Box has said:

'Customers using the Dynamic Purchasing Service (DPS) have had a data processing addendum already as part of their standard contractual paperwork with Box, which follows the EU model clauses'
